Nelsons Ridge Medical Centre is an accredited practice by the Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) which is a leading provider of accreditation and related quality improvement services to general practices. They assess practices against the standards provided by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
Nelsons Ridge Medical Centre opened officially opened in September 2005. Within a ten year period, it has become a thriving and well sought after medical centre by people of all walks of life.
There are currently 3 GPs with a team of longstanding and friendly staff consisting of a Practice Manager, 6 receptionists and a loyal patient base.
The practice is fully computerised and offers dedicated consulting and treatment rooms, on-site pathology collection and a variety of allied health professionals. Health professionals offered are a Psychologist, Physiotherapist, Dietician and a Podiatrist. See Allied health for further information.
We run by an appointment system. Please ring the practice numbers for an appointment. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time & GP. Emergencies will always be given priority. Our practice staff will attempt to contact you if there are unforseen delays or your GP has been called away.

Fees and billings:
We are a Bulk Billing centre for everyone with a valid Medicare card.
Fees may apply for charges not covered by Medicare.
For those without a valid Medicare card a standard Level B consultation is $60.00
For other services such as allied health consultations those who are eligible can be seen under Medicare through an EPC care plan - speak to your Doctor to assess your eligibility. For those not eligible under Medicare fees will apply.
Work cover and Third Party Claims will be billed to the insurance company. If the claim is rejected, the patient is responsible for full settlement of the account.
